A quote from us is a fixed price for the work described on it, and it stands for 30 days. It is not an estimate that drifts. If we have missed something, that is our problem, not yours.

Variations happen on roofs, because a roof is the one part of a house nobody can see until it is open. If we strip a roof and find rot in the rafter feet that could not have been seen at survey, we stop, we show you, and we price it before we carry on. You will never find a variation on an invoice that you have not agreed in advance. That is the whole point of the firm.

For re-roofs we take a staged deposit against materials, because materials get ordered and paid for before we start. It is never the full amount and it is always against work or goods. If any roofer asks you for the entire sum before they start, do not pay it.

Workmanship is guaranteed for ten years in writing from completion. That covers our work. It does not cover storm damage, other trades interfering with our work, or somebody else going up there afterwards. Materials carry whatever the manufacturer gives, which we will tell you at quote. This is a demonstration site. Before it goes live these terms need reviewing by someone qualified against your actual contracts and consumer-rights obligations, including the cancellation rights that apply to work agreed in a customer's home.
